Cali Meets

LETS IMPROVE ON THIS LINE UP FOR 2012

As most of you know the Cali family has been growing fast up and down the country.  We have for the past couple of years put together a few little meet ups around the country whereby as few as 5 vans have attended upto as many as 25 vans.

We thought it was about time we organised something whereby we could put a date in the diary for an annual event, where we would all have the opportunity to meet up with old friends and also make new ones, share ideas and also our enthusiasm about this much loved vehicle.

The weekend will hopefully adopt that of others that we have had in the past, a low key event, in a nice spot that is full of friendly people whereby you can wonder at your leisure and join in socially as and when you feel ready.

The 2012 location is:

Hopyard Farm,

Bourne Road

Defford,

Worcester

WR8 9BS

And the date is:

25-27th May 2012

The campsite is hopefully well placed for all as it is fairly central and easy to get to off the motorway.  There are also some lovely things to do in the local area.  The campsite has a fishing lake and it is on the river so some nice walks too.

They will also be having a shower block built which will  have been completed prior to our arrival.

I have secured the use of one side of the campsite exclusively for us where we can pitch up as we please and also the use of a marquee, so we we will have somewhere to congregate durings the evenings, that should accomodate us all - disco lights welcome!!!

The cost of the weekend  will be approximately £20 per pitch but I will confirm nearer the time.

I am also happy to approach a local curry house for a price on catering (delivered to the marquee) on the Saturday for those that would be interested.  Just have a think for now and I’ll ask nearer the time.

The campsite has asked if we can co-ordinate bookings and then they will take payment on arrival

I have added an event to Facebook, where you can indicate if you can attend or not.  We will also keep a list of people that would prefer to email us instead.
