Issues with your roof?

As many of you know, last year we met the team at Volkswagen Hanover in Germany for the factory tour, and the subject of reported roof corrosion came up.

The good news is that Volkswagen informed us they have identified the reason this problem sometimes occurs, and that it is caused by an imbalance of metals used in the manufacturing process.Rest assured, along with repairs being carried out, any repair work itself will also be warranted for up to six years.

We were also informed that there may be a waiting list due to the complexity and skills required to complete the repair, hence why there are currently only four centres authorised to carry out the work.If anyone identifies this as an issue on their Cali then please contact Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Customer Care E-mail: customercare@vwcv.co.uk or telephone: 0800 783 4909.
